How Old Are "Older Students"? Ahem, Lifelong Learners?

Evie Eaves was 97 when she earned her GED in Amarillo, Texas. I wonder if she was a little nervous about fitting in at school. Considering the dramatic change Evie has seen in her lifetime, there probably isn't much that intimidates her.

For the rest of us, whether you're 37 or 67, school can be nerve-wracking. It doesn't have to be. Tips for Older Students is a new series of suggestions for those of us nervous about returning to school.

It’s amazing that when my brother went to business school, he felt old at the age of 28. I think times have changed, but still I can understand why anyone in their 40s or 50s would feel a bit out of place.

Why I am almost 70 well I will be 69 next year and I have just completed my CTLLS. In September I will continue studying for the DTLLS. I am also still teaching. Everyone in my class is younger and nobody even noticed. How about that.
