Hmnnn, I live in Nuevo, very small, rural town in Riverside County, California. For anything, even groceries, I have to drive at least 20 minutes into town, although there is a market at both ends of the town. I can’t imagine there are any adult learning centers any where close. When I think about continuing ed for myself, I often wish I could learn Spanish, but don’t think I could commit if it were a long drive. INteresting to think about starting something here.
Deborah, since you have internet access. You might consider doing it online. There a so many opportunities to learn in the comfort of your home.
Hi Deborah and Annette,
I didn’t see your post, Deborah. Thanks for responding, Annette. Online learning is a great option when you’re outside city services but have internet access.
If you have the resources to start an organization of your own, I’m sure you can find county and state resources to help. Let us know what happens.
