Ice Breaker of the Week: People Bingo

Almost everyone knows how to play Bingo (and many of us will always be able to sing the B-I-N-G-O! song, but that's another thing). People Bingo, sometimes called Human Bingo, is one of the best ice breakers for customizing for your particular group.

Come up with unusual traits and experiences belonging to your group if you know the people, or general traits if you don't, and put them in the boxes of the Bingo card. Your students are charged with finding people in the room who match the traits. You can make it as easy or difficult as time allows.
