Happy Labor Day! Eat a Homemade Pickle

Monday September 1, 2008
Labor Day has been celebrated since 1882 in honor of the worker, the people who labor, very often with little or no recognition or appreciation. Tim and I often stop to reflect on the jobs that nobody wants to do, and everybody wants done. If that's the kind of job you do, we applaud you, not just today, but every day. Thank you.

If you're one of the many workers who doesn't like their job, or who knows they could rise to their potential with a little, or a lot, more education, I encourage you to take the first step toward going back to school. Explore the site, ask for help, start believing it can happen. When you need a little push, visit the Continuing Education message boards and reach out. We'll be there for you.

Tim has BBQ ribs in the smoker today. Yum. I wish all of you a relaxing day and a good, spicy meal with a pickle.

Hey , it is Labor Day! I’m happy with my extra day off, and I am planning to make something fun that will probably involve a bike ride and seeing something new in Ogdensburg I haven’t seen yet.
You write new post on this Monday at the labor day? … HaPPY bloggiNg!
