Study Skill - Write Your Own Practice Tests

Have you ever studied for a test by writing your own practice test? It makes a lot of sense, especially if you've asked your instructor what kind of test will be given. Multiple choice? True/False? Essay?

Al Siebert and Mary Karr, in the sixth edition of their book The Adult Student's Guide to Survival & Success, outline how to get higher grades by creating your own practice tests. The idea is a good one, and it's our study skill of the week.
