Worried about the economy? Interested in the medical field? Consider improving your job status by attending a medical certificate program.
Many universities offer certificate programs for students interested in learning medical coding, billing, and transcription. There are also relatively short programs for people wanting to become technicians and medical assistants in a wide variety of specialty areas. In some cases, you can earn a certificate in a matter of 3 months or less. That means you could be eligible for a better-paying, more secure job by next quarter. Not bad.
Give your local university a jingle and ask about the programs they offer. Check out online programs, too.
What are your thoughts about these programs?
