I'm a Minnesota girl, through and through, living in the Ozarks. I miss snow. I know, it's hard for some people to believe, but snow holds the potential for so many things---building snowpeople and snowcats, okay, snowdogs too, skiing, sledding, you get the picture. It's also really, really great for building snow forts and having a good old snowball fight.
Clearly, that's not going to cut it in the classroom.
But a snowball fight out of paper? Oh yeah. That's almost as fun. And it's also a great way to introduce students, or better yet, at this time of year, to recap topics or prep for tests.
