Did You See the Kaplan Commercial on American Idol?

Friday February 27, 2009
Last night, watching American Idol, I was intrigued by a Kaplan University commercial. Did you see it?

It was an apology to a gathering of students for how "education steeped in tradition and old ideas" has failed them. "It's time for a new university," the professor says as the camera shows us people of all ages listening to him via electronic devices of all kinds in myriad settings.

I found the commercial uplifting and current. It's about finding talent everywhere in life, not just on traditional campuses. There's more than one way to get an education today.

Which way is best for you?

Thanks to Laurie on myspace for the link to the Kaplan commercial. I don't know her, but when I Googled for a link, I got Laurie.
