Switching to the Health Care Field Mid-Life

Madonna University in Detroit reports at Freep.com that demand is so high for their health care classes, they've added six courses. The phone is ringing off the hook.

Many of the new students are people who have been laid off from their auto jobs. Jan Bielecki is 63. She's in line to become a pharmacy technician.

Jobs do seem to abound in the health care field. There's a definite shortage of nurses. Maybe it's the right field for you. If you're thinking about it, talk to us. We'd love to hear your story.
