Do You Have an Instant Degree? How's it Workin' for You?

Wednesday May 6, 2009
Charles DeShields had this to say about my March 2, 2009 blog on fake degrees:

Has anyone ever contacted a recipient of an "instantdegrees.com" purchaser? I'm interested to hear what they have to say about their experience. I wonder if they've ever used it for any real purpose and how it held up under any real background check.

I'm not sure how we would get hold of someone to ask, so I'm hoping you'll come to us. Do you have an instant degree? Have you used it to get a job? Has anyone checked it out? Called you on it? We have questions. Talk to us.

I wonder if any of the people who purchased one of these degrees is too embarrassed to disclose the details. Surely the so called binding agreement contract that threatens the purchaser with a $100,000 liability for disclosing any information. How can an illegal company go after someone legally? God Bless America!

I didn’t know they had to sign an agreement. What’s that all about? I’m guessing there aren’t a lot of visitors to the site who have fallen for the instant degree thing. Why would they be here? They’ve got it all with their piece of paper.

I really think to owners of these degrees are too embarrassed to come forward to tell their story. I have been looking for a picture aof an actual degree. Can’t seem to find one anywhere. I have figured out that none of these degrees are from the U.S.

just wondering what’s the difference of getting an instant degree from receiving a honorary doctorate degree even if you’re just a high school graduate? manny pacquaio the filipino boxer did received a honorary doctorate degree in humanities! mr. sy the owner of the SM malls did received a honorary doctorate degree in business without attending school, the honored doctorate degree came not from a private college but from a reputable state university! i don’t know why are you people so affected by these instant degree schemes! remember that we can’t learn everything by ourselves nor the famous schools can help us be the most intelligent man in this world. do you know who caused the recession in the world, those people who mastered the business techniques from exclusive schools that are known to produce presidents, ha ha ha!
