Online Community College Seminar for Faculty and Administrators

The Online Summer Institute for Community Colleges (OSICC) is June 25-26. That's coming up quickly. If you're a faculty member or administrator in a community college, this might be an interesting way to earn a CEU.

The $249 program includes faculty development for online training, learning management systems, online diversity in students, partnering with other educational entities such as museums and libraries, leading and motivating faculty, and online rules of engagement. They even offer an online happy hour.

In the current economy, online seminars like this might be just the thing for developing professionally while saving money. And it makes sense to learn about online training online.

I'm gearing up to write more about community colleges. If you're involved with one in any capacity, talk to me. I'd like to hear about what you do and why you believe in community colleges.
