U.S. Awards Grants to Help Students Finish College

How many people do you know who started college and didn't finish? Lots.

The U.S. government is trying to help. Last week, it awarded 34 grants to postsecondary institutions to help build a "college completion culture."

"The President has set a goal for America to lead the world in college graduates by 2020, and grant programs like the Strengthening Institutions Program help to further our efforts to meet that mark," U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan said.
