Learning Through Story

People love stories. If you're lucky, you hear stories from your days in the womb until your last moments of life. Stories wake us up and lull us to sleep. They make us laugh and cry. They teach.

The ability to tell a good story, especially one that teaches, is a gift, and there are places to hone that gift. Elderversity Lifelong Learning of Oklahoma City is one of those places. It's offering a course in storytelling starting July 9. Elderversity. Now that's a cool name for an organization.

No matter where you live, there's likely to be a similar course available to you. If you love stories, this kind of class might be just the thing to make this summer especially memorable.

Stories have power. Learn how to tell a great story, and watch the world around you change.
