I am so proud to announce that contributing writer Ron Gross will be honored for his contributions to lifelong learning with the Malcolm S. Knowles Memorial Award from the International Society for Self-Directed Learning at its 2013 symposium in Cocoa Beach February 6-8.
Ron is one of the most enthusiastic learners I have ever known, and it is my great privilege that he continues to write for About Continuing Education. His pieces have made a valuable contribution to the site that many students of all ages have benefited from. Thank you, Ron!

Ron Gross is awesome! I don’t personally know him but I’ve seen one or two of his ideas on paper about self-organization and goal-orientation and he is one sharp cookie.
