GED (General Educational Development) testing in the state of Alabama is handled by the Alabama Community College System as part of the Department of Postsecondary Education. The information is nearly impossible to find if you don't already know to look at the ACCS site, found at accs.cc. There is no reference that I could find to it on the Alabama Department of Education website.
Alabama appears to be offering the new 2014 computer-based test provided by GED Testing Service as of January 1, 2014.
Once you find your way to the ACCS site, you will find info on:
- Adult Education Services
- Adult Education Providers
- Various GED links
- Answers to FAQs
- Accommodations for Testing
