STRATEGY 5 - Facts/Factoids
Activate Intelligences - Logical/Mathematical
Description
Individuals who are strong in logical/mathematical intelligence appreciate knowing how things add up. Given that the Internet facilitates access to statistics on virtually every concept, it is easy to satisfy and acknowledge the need for numerically-based explanations.
Tips
* Use Factoids as icebreakers or energizers (e.g. how many people have home computers? What is the average age of people who purchase new homes? How many years of education does the average Canadian have?)
* Display statistics on key concepts or ideas (e.g demographics, behaviour, timing, distance, rankings, weight)
