What do you usually blog about?
We blog about topics that are of interest to non-traditional students (adult learners, students who are also parents and/or employed full-time, student veterans, etc.), including useful resources, new programs, success stories, etc.
For example, our most three recent blog posts are about 1.) the new flexible degree program at the University of Wisconsin that allows students to earn credit for knowledge they already have, 2.) an infographic profiling today's non-traditional student (did you know 75% of undergrads are considered non-traditional?!), and 3.) a 29-year-old student veteran who created a network for inactive service members on thirteen college campuses.
Tips and Tricks
- Think about your target audience, & then find out what these people want to read about!
- Research your topic regularly to stay up to date on the latest news
- Don't only talk about yourself!
