Share Your Story: Tell Us About Your Non-Traditional Student Blog!

From Bertie

What do you call your blog?

My blog is called NontraditionalU. I have been a traditional and nontraditional college student and through my experiences, I want to help others. My passion is to give nontraditional students as much relevant information as possible to help them on their journey.

What do you usually blog about?

I blog about online degree programs, how to succeed in school, how to relieve anxiety about going back to school and general questions that a nontraditional student would like answered. I'm also open to suggestions and questions from my readers.

Tips and Tricks

  • Just start writing. The hardest part about blogging is getting your feet wet. Once you start, you will have the initial momentum to keep going.
  • Organize your thoughts on paper first. This will help keep you focused or show you what you need to focus on.
  • Look at other blogs. Note what you like and dislike about the blogs you see and take from them what you would like to have on yours.

How does blogging about school help you as a student?

I just finished my Master's degree and want to help others on their journey.

Where can we find your blog?

My blog can be found at www.nontraditionalu.com.
