MATH

I have been trying to get my GED for over 15 years. Math has always hendered me. I went to GED classes from 8 am to 12 noon and I studied and practice hard in every class session! But when it came to test on the m ath, NOTHING , they taught in class was on that test. I have never been smart in the math, even in school I did just enough to get by to the next grade. I am testing again on math next month. Am I scared?? YES! I am so CLOSE to getting a better education and a chance at getting better income to support my kids and family. Wish me LUCK!! And I just want to wish anyone out there that's tested over a million times and still has not passed all the subjects, KEEP TRYING! Good luck

GED Math is the hardest!!!

I took the Math GED twice last year, and once this year and keep getting the same score (380). I study like crazy, and took the practice test several times and passed, but when it's time for me to take the actually test I fail. I'm going to try one more time this coming Tuesday. Pray For ME!!!!!

Haven't take it!!

I haven't take the GED, but I'm really scare of reading and the essay part. I study a lot in my house. I usually grade my own test and score pretty high. I was suppose to take the GED today. Unfortunately I told my teacher to schedule me for a different day because I don't feel prepare. Well im more scare then prapare my confidence of passing is really low. I'm 18 years old and there's no way I could drop out again, that's not a option on my side. I need this diploma to keep moving with my life. On the 26 of this month I'm taking the GED for the first time and I hope I pass it, not just for me but for my family also. I'm praying and studying!!

Just took all the tests

I just took math and writing this past Monday. I thought the math would be the most difficult because it is the subject I had most difficulty with in school 25 years ago, but it wasn't difficult at all. Math test had very few algebra and geometry questions. Zero fractions questions. Few ratios and lots of graphs and percentages. Not everything you learn in Ged classes or in the Ged books is necessary. I took the science, reading and social studies on Tuesday and found that the majority of the questions could be answered with basic common sense. It really helped to read the questions quickly before reading the paragraphs to get an idea of what answers to look for in the paragraphs. I'm fairly confident I passed the all the tests, except for perhaps, the essay because my mind went blank and I had trouble focusing on what to write, but I'll find out next week whether I passed or not. Good luck to all those getting ready to take the test!

Passed the GED

The hardest test for me, was the Math. After a lot of long hours on studying, I took my last test, (the math test) and passed the test. I had just now recieved my GED Certificate. If I can pass the math test, anyone can.

One Test Left

I have a 2200 and my last test left is math, I encourage anyone looking to get their GED to go ahead and get started. I thought I would have never got anywhere as close as I am but now I am confident and ready to take my last test to graduate.
