Ron Gross is Back on the Continuing Education Page

Sunday September 7, 2008
If you have missed the contributions Ron Gross made to Kimeiko's page when she was the Continuing Education Guide, I have good news. He's back!

The Conversation Man

Ron's first article for the new site is all about the importance of meaningful conversations, which is very appropriate. After all, he is the conversation man.

Whether you're a teacher of adults or an ageless learner, Ron's tips for making conversations more meaningful will help you make the most of your next gathering in the classroom or around the dinner table.

(1) Susan Adcox says:

Wow! I had no idea that there was a Conversation Man or a Conversation Week. I spent many years as a high school English teacher. Now that I’m retired, the conversations I had with my students are what I miss most. I still keep up with over a hundred of them on Facebook, but face-to-face conversations are still better. Now I’m inspired to find some ways to put conversations back in my life!

(2) Jen says:

I find some of my most meaningful conversations are with children. They’re truthful and don’t pre-edit their responses. You know that they say exactly what they mean.

Could someone please repost Ron’s article about the Learning Project Plan (LPP)? I loved that tool so much which helped me create organization from chaos!
