YouTube Tutoring?

Saturday December 13, 2008
That's actually kind of fun to say---YouTube tutoring. It's also a fun way to learn, or so I hear. I understand students are finding tutoring help in subjects like math on YouTube. Having trouble understanding trigonometry? Watch a video of someone solving a problem. Didn't catch it? Rewind.

I love this idea. I'm thinking I've been in a cave somewhere. I haven't quite gotten into the YouTube craze yet.

Do you use YouTube for studying? Share your experience and your advice. Is it a good tool? Or do you need to beware?

Tell us what you think!

I used to teach Japanese through videos on YouTube, and while I got lots of emails from people that it helped, most of the comments on the videos were not related to the subject matter at all.

Hmmm. Interesting. I am very old-school and have used You-tube for entertainment but like one of the choices on your poll, I am a bit wary about trusting someone to teach me correctly.
