Language Learning with Rosetta Stone

Saturday May 16, 2009
Rosetta Stone is one of those names everyone has heard when the topic of language learning comes up. The Rosetta Stone company offers language courses for personal use, organizations (think international corporations, government, and military), and schools. They have language-learning software in more than 30 languages.

Have you used Rosetta Stone products to learn a new language? Tell us your story. What language(s) did you learn? How easy was it? Where did you practice? Can you still speak the language? We have questions!

(1) Stephen Vandenbark says:

I purchased all three levels of “jAPANESE” version 3. I love it. It goes at the spead that I want to study and compaires my vioce with the “native speaker” by the use of a sound graft. Then at cetain times it gives me an achievement test. This test results tell me if what I am do is correct, or should I go back and review the material again. The program uses pictures to tell the stories also. Kind of like being there in person. I could not say to many good things about the Japanese program. If I want to learn another language I will use only the on with “Rosetta Stone”.
